In case you'd ever like me for a mentor...

... if you'd ever want a mental person for a mentor that is! Anyway, I've been invited to participate in an online mentorship program, available to anybody who might want to spend one-on-one time with me online. It's a ten-week course, in which i'd skype/email/telephone or whatever with a person, to give them guidance on their work, critiques on their pieces, whatever tickles their fancy. The program is called the Motivarti Mentorship Program, and information is below. I'm only taking on one mentee, and the session starts in the spring, so deadline for that session is December 18th. Here's the link:

plus a link featuring me:

I am apparently the only children's book illustrator on the list, everyone else is in animation. So, if any of you are interested in a career in animation, check out the others on the list too!

I'm currently busy with my final year in art school, or else I'd love to sign up. Do you think you'll be able to participate in 2013, as well?

Peace Leuyen, I'm down! And I could really use the push of a mentor who's work I actually like/own. What do I have to do? Is there some form of scholarship/financial assistance? Give me a holler. If this Movarti thing doesn't pan out, I live in the Bay Area and would love to be a mentee of yours.

It's so awesome that you are willing to contribute your time and knowledge for this mentorship program. I signed right up. Crossing my fingers that I get picked :-)

Have a wonderful holiday season!
